The architecture of Customs Department of Bien Hoa, Dong Nai province is designed as a workplace for 120 customs officers, customs clearance place for all operations of the factories located in industrial park with very high density that was invested by capital as prescribed by the state.
The symbolic architecture was chosen to exploit in this project. Although it consists of functions of the whole combination included work, goods examination, export, import, storage, rest, eating, and conference..., but it requires designers to have a quite complicated solution to achieve acceptance from investors.
The symbol of architecture is a customs clearance portal like a container hung up onto two blocks of symmetric architecture, the simplicity and transparency designed as the nature of the Customs’ requirements. Strong and modern shape combined with materials suitable to industrial parks, where the work to be built.Site area: 6,000 sqm
