SAIGON - NINH CHU RESORT

Ho Chi Minh City Architectural Award 2008 - Second Prize.
Top 20 of Vietnamese Typical Architectural Works in the innovation period .
Detail:
The Project is designed to be built on a nice well known sea area of Vietnam: Ninh Chu – Binh Thuan Province. It is planned to be built on an area of 6.3 ha and developed through many stages. Arch. Nguyen Van Tat has drawn a portrait of Saigon - Ninh Chu with a lot of aspects: a Central Hotel + a Resort (253 rooms) of 4-star standard, a Restaurant (400 seats), an Amusement Area, an Open Air Activity Area, etc. connect to each other to create a well closed architectural line. Being viewed afar, it looks like a huge sea bird hovering wings above a blue sea and white sand area. The Restaurant looks like a deck of a modern ship: well-cleaned, firm and romantic. Arch.. Nguyen Van Tat et al in TAD Architectura also design a Resort including many clusters of bungalow and welcoming hallways below leaf canopies of original poplar forest on blue beach and white sand which are consoled by mild waves. Saigon - Ninh Chu is attracted by not only its Four-Star Hotel and Tropical Resort but also a “free” area designed by Arch.. Nguyen Van Tat for young men liking field trips and open air activities: Open Air Camping Area – serving 400 persons at the same time. Furthermore, there are also Sports and Gymnastic Area, Amusement Area, Pavilions, Kiosks on beach, etc. creating an ebullient activity atmosphere for tourists once they have chosen Saigon - Ninh Chu their destination. This Work was won Ho Chi Minh City Architectural Award 2008 and selected as one of Top 20 of Vietnamese Typical Architectural Works in the innovation period.
