Upon accepting to design Can Gio Resort on 30/4 Beach, just at the start, Arch. Nguyen Van Tat & Associates D’Architectura have intended to design it not to become a resort with blue sea, long lasting white sand and bright yellow sunshine. Just at here, Can Gio Resort has only fresh air near the sea, and with his experience, Arch. Nguyen Van Tat has turned this place into a peaceful place like a homestead in a quiet seaside countryside. Tourists come to Can Gio Resort to find their “ego”, release themselves into a calm countryside after a lot of daily hurry and worries. Arch. Nguyen Van Tat & Assosiates D’Architectura have designed a friendly entrance with a rural hibiscus fence. Only highlighted from afar is a welcome gate symbolized by four posts seeming to speak out “men in the world are all brothers”. Across a large yard with water and lotuses penetrating just to the hallway. The space which expands is rich of Southern characteristics with a row of outbuildings and cottages are hidden below green trees, and bright portulaca grand flora in front of the yard. Dark red double tile roofed bungalows appear vaguely under flamboyant canopies. In front of a bungalow is a row of areca trees and in its back yard banana trees. A calm corner of the homestead is a chance for coming back of people away from their homeland – so is the concept of architects of TAD Architectura.
